Nicki Minaj seemed to be shading Cardi B on X, formerly Twitter, after the latter received an honor lauding her for her impact on the music industry.

Minaj, in a tweet, expressed her cryptic thoughts.

"Hi so let's get into this right now. I'm that Btch. That's Number 1. Number 2. Revisit number one. If it means you gotta revisit that shit 500 times a day, DO IT!!!!!!!! Before you EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think bout playing pon MY BOMBOROSCLOT HEADTOP!!!!!" Minaj said.

Minaj then went on to address how successful her Pink Friday 2 World Tour is.

"No matter how much you PAY for ONIKA to be put on blogs (when she's clearly joking w|the Barbz ONLY, & mindin her business), just remember how all that paid media lied 2 yall about my tour & now it's in the TOP 10 of hip hop tours of ALL time & we still ain't half way thru," Minaj added.

Minaj's fiery statements came after Cardi B received the Inspiration Award from blogger Jason Lee's 2024 Impact Awards.

According to the Grammy-winning rapper, Lee has always reminded her of her accomplishments and longevity in the music industry.

"I obviously see it," Cardi added. "Sometimes people always want to underestimate everything I have done but I know I have made a change in my field. I know I changed a lot of s***." In her speech, Cardi acknowledged the inspiration she has brought to female rappers.

"I know I give a lot of girls inspiration, no matter if they admit it or not. Baby, I see Cardi B all over you, baby. B****, don't play," the "Up" rapper said.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the "Bongos" rapper discussed her impact on the music industry, specifically in the female rap lane.

"These labels was not believing in repping new rap artists," she claimed. "People from every single label have f-king told me this s-t in my face. They started signing new female rappers after I got signed."

Cardi also doubled down on the online debate about whether these young artists are capable of making big in the industry.

"Whether some b-ches could be the greatest rappers [or] they just make good music - at the end of the f-king day, guess what? They're in your playlist right now," she added.
